Pets and Colostrum

From Mice to Elephants…

Like us, all of our mammal friends benefit from colostrum.

From mice to elephants, colostrum, nature’s first supplement, is produced by all mammalian mothers for their newborn. Bovine colostrum, harvested within the first six hours post calving, works for all mammals of any age. Dogs love both the lozenges and the powder. Cats prefer the powder on their food. Just give them about what you would take yourself, there is no such thing as over-dosing. Remember, newborn babies drink all the colostrum they can get their lips on! And after you see the incredible benefits colostrum brings to your pets, don’t forget to try colostrum yourself, if you don’t already use it. Got a sick snake? Surprisingly colostrum may even work for snakes. Read about colostrum and snakes.

Pets and Colostrum Testimonials

Most of the pet owner testimonials have been removed in deference to government regulations. The two below hopefully are within allowable parameters.

“I take it and I’m treating my boxer who has stage 3 mast cell cancer. You may want to know the results are very impressive. I give 1/2 tablespoon a day, twice daily. She s on chemo and was supposed to have been dead 30 days ago. The oncologist is overwelmed with the fact that her immune system is so strong that it is supporting her even through chemo. She has actually gained weight where most pets lose a lot of weight. ”
-Zach Wright

“Our dog has become much more playful and energetic since we began giving it colostrum.” - Dale Johnson, Boise, Idaho

Note: Dogs love both the powder and the lozenges. For cats add the powder to their food. Usage amount is not critical, anywhere from a lozenge or two or 1/4 tsp of the powder twice daily, up to a tsp of the powder twice daily, generally the more the better.
